Today I mistrust Agamben's writing also, because when I read it I have to reference the law, and when you reference the law you encounter things that divide. Its kind of like the problem with islamic sharia - when I look at differences in their law in comparison to ours I find things that are divisive, but if I look at arab architecture instead, now there's something I can work with in terms of dialogue (with my neighbor).
